The Birth of Human‑Centered Practice
The founding issue: seventy-five years of human-centered thinking becomes one profession. The science, the standards, the community, and the invitation to help build it.
Future editions of The Ripple will be available to community members and contributors to the Human-Centered Body of Practice.
How HCA Creates Insight
We Sense. We Synthesize. We Advance.
Everything HCA builds is grounded in science, evidence, and established bodies of knowledge. But our role is not to generate all of that evidence ourselves. Our role is to sense what is emerging, synthesize what the evidence means, interpret it for practitioners and organizations, and advance the field through shared learning.
The question is never simply what the research says. It is what practitioners need to understand and do in response to it.
01 · Sense
We identify emerging signals, persistent patterns, and unmet needs across organizations, communities, and the world of work.
“We are not here to publish papers. We are here to make sense of the evidence that already exists, and help people act on it.”
